    I don’t understand why a show/book/webcomic/whatever is automatically deemed flawed just because there are few to none canon LGBTQ characters. I’m always happy to see a work of fiction include LGBTQ character(s) portrayed without stereotypes, but I don’t expect every single author to provide one. 

    Especially when it’s written by a straight guy. It’s like if you criticized works written by gay authors for having few to none straight characters. You’re gonna write about what interests you.
